XAEDA RAQASA BIO
A popular instructor and entertainer, her love of dance has seen her blur the lines between Classical, Tribal and Fusion styles of Belly Dancing
Blending each style into her own unique technique has allowed Xaeda to perform alongside many legends of the dance and is acclaimed as an emotive and passionate artist
Based in Coffs Harbour NSW with her school Sacred Lotus BellyDance, Xaeda travels regularly to teach and dance at events nationally and co-hosts the Bula BellyDance Retreat alongside her mentor and friend Amera Eid.
Blessed in dance and life she enjoys the Gypsy lifestyle that allows her to openly create alongside all of the amazing women that are drawn to the various forms of Middle Eastern Dance.

“CALM & CHAOS” FUSION
Fast and furious to meditative movement, this workshop explores how music and interpretation can change any combination to express two different sides of the one coin.
By focusing on contemporary fusion combinations we will discover new ways to move through various body isolation, direction changes and different musical styles to evolve as an artist. By knowing how and when to hold back or snap into a sharp turn can reveal all of the various forms one combination can become. It is limitless.
From slow and emotive songs to dub step this fun filled view on dance and movement with see you emerging from your calm cocoon to embracing the chaos.

“THE SOUK OF SILK” FAN VEILS
Sensual, graceful and emotive, these mesmerising props can fill the stage with colour and add an element of mystery to your dance.
The “Souk of Silk” will flow from basic technique, reveals and fundamental movements with beautiful combinations that transcend from solo or duo performances to stunning group displays.
